Continous Delivery toolkit
ENACT will deliver two enablers that aim at improving the continuous delivery of smart IoT systems, with a specific focus on (i) agile and continuous evolution and (ii) ensuring the proper design of the system before delivery. A particular attention will be given to support the testing of smart IoT systems and the gradual migration from the test to the operation environment.
Agile Operation Toolkit
ENACT will deliver three innovative enablers to significantly reduce the burden of managing and maintaining smart IoT systems. A specific attention will be given (i) to ensure the trustworthiness of such systems and (ii) to automate operation activities as much as possible.
Trustworthiness toolkit
ENACT will deliver a set of enablers addressing specific crosscutting trustworthiness concerns such as ensuring proper robustness, security and privacy of smart IoT systems.
Barcelona plenary meeting
During 9-10 October 2018, the ENACT project members gathered at the facilities of CA Technologies in Barcelona for the fourth plenary meeting. We reviewed the status of all the work packages, engaged cross work package technical discussions, and made agreements on the next key steps.
Entering the tenth month of the project, the GA in Barcelona is well timed for the project members to review the work done in the key deliverables of 2018, and get ready for the technical checkpoint in December. During the first day of the GA, we have reviewed the status of all the work packages and discussed the concrete plans for the next steps. After nine months, the ENACT project has made good progress in all the work packages and built up more synergies between the tech "enablers" and tools of the work packages. The second day of the GA featured technical talks from the key technical work packages by SINTEF, CA Technologies, UDE, Tecnalia, and EDI. The technical talks provided good background for the workshops in the afternoon to discuss common topics. The entire ENACT consortium is building up the good momentum from the first project year. The year 2018 is also showing the remarkable efforts of the project members in dissemination and exploitation activities for the project.
The fourth GA of the ENACT consortium was successful. Many thanks to all the participants, and especially the great hospitality of the CA Technologies team in Barcelona!
